1) Click on start 2) Click on run 3) Type regedit 4) When regedit opens, look for the Blizzard folder 5) Inside the Blizzard folder find the Diablo 2 folder 6) Inside the Diablo 2 folder find a registry key named "Default Channel" If you do not have this key, right click in the folder, select new, then select string value. Name this new string value "Default Channel" 7) Right click on "Default Channel" 8) Click "Modify" (Do NOT click Modify Binary Data) It will open a box asking you to enter a value 9) Enter this value as the exact channel name that you want to enter when you login to b.net (this skips the step of having to enter a public chat channel before being sent to your home channel) For example, I entered LoD Druid Grove USEast-1 10) Click "OK" You will now see your channel listed in the data section of the registry key 11) Open Diablo 2 12) Log onto bnet 13) Click "Enter Chat" 14) Start chatting with friends!
